This is a picture of the projections of the axons of the utricular primary afferent neurons into the hinbrain of a 4-day old zebrafish.  DiI was injected into the utricular sensory epithelia in a live larva.  The larva was placed in fixative and the labeled axons were documented 1 day later.  This work was done by Suzanna Lesko .
